What you can do
- Write without friction. A calm editor that stays smooth on a full-length novel, with a Flow mode that clears everything but the page.
- Keep your story world close. Characters, locations, lore and factions live beside your chapters, and mentions in your prose link straight to them.
- See the shape of your story. Move chapters around on the Corkboard, follow threads in the Plot Overview, and map your Story Arcs.
- Never lose a draft. Versions are saved as you write, every chapter has its own history, and deleted work can be brought back from Recently deleted.
- Publish when you're ready. Export a finished EPUB, DOCX or PDF, and preview exactly what you'll get before you save it.
- Own your files. Everything is stored on your computer as plain, readable files, so your book is always yours.
